After a background in financial services sales and business development, I founded Parliament Hill Ltd in 2004. We offered services to membership bodies (including chartered institutions, trade unions, royal medical colleges, small insurance companies, building societies and more). The business grew from 4 clients at the end of its first year to 97 when I left in 2024, and the aggregate membership we ‘represented’ was in excess of 7 million in the UK alone. Clients included CIMA, ICAEW and ACCA (three of the largest accountancy bodies in the world); the Institution of Civil Engineers; The Royal Society of Medicine; OneFamily; Market Harborough Building Society.
Since a successful exit from Parliament Hill, I have operated as a Non-Executive Director, consultant and mentor.
Highlights include:

- Consultancy, strategy, sales training, preparation for business sale: for 2 UK businesses operating internationally (one in Voice & IT; the other in outsourcing)
- Mentoring and supporting the leader of a small business set up to help make youth football operate more fairly and responsibly
- Mentoring, plus sales and growth strategy for a boutique business delivering early years child education and development
